While rebooting is OK for small problems with electronic equipment, to fix a constantly malfunctioning piece of electronic equipment, there are two schools of thought among electronic repair people. Similar results, but yet very different approaches.
1. Is the Emmit Fix-it-Shop method. It is best described as a three-foot drop of the electronic equipment from the bench to the floor.
2. Is using a very specially designed precision tool to make the delicate adjustments necessary to finely tweak constantly malfunctioning electronic equipment so it will operate at optimal efficiency, in layman’s terms it is known as a two by four.
I don’t call him KOOK-ye West for nothing!
