Chaos In The House Continues, And Some White Chick Just Out-Dolezal’d Rachel Dolezal
By Daisy · January 4, 2023
It’s January 4th, and we still don’t have a Speaker of the House. Because Republicans are acting like toddlers, y’all. And Democrats are LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF THIS. We’re giving you an update on THAT chaos, plus watch out, Rachel Dolezal – there’s a whole other crazy white beeyotch in town. And she’s culturally appropriating the crap out of Native Americans.
Additionally, there’s all sorts of weather happening, and I’m telling the story of what happened at my husband’s retirement party last month. Never a dull moment!
Hope everyone has a lovely first Wednesday of the year.

My daughter’s cat ate hair ties. I don’t think they counted how many, but it was a lot. Less than the cat in Daisy’s wack article, but still. I have pics of Alwyn’s x-rays showing the stupid ties in him. Cats are dumb.
Also, our cat Angus (died in March 2018) ate yarn, but usually got rid of that. However, he ate sewing thread, which looped around his tongue and made him vomit all the time. He had surgery for that, and dang, the vet was amazed he survived it. A few years later, and he’s acting odd again, so we take him to the vet, they x-ray him, and he’s eaten something else long and thin. So back into surgery he goes, but this time he’d eaten dental floss (!), and it had cut open his stomach and there was infection all over his insides. There was no way to put all the torn areas back together. The vet knew how much we loved that stupid cat, but told us he would probably never be on a regular diet, and would have problems the rest of his life, which she didn’t think would be very long. It was SO HARD, but we opted to let him go. I’ve never cried so much in my life. Angus was our son Spencer’s best buddy, and got Spencer through a lot of traumatic high school times.
